my commercial 45 for the jerry butler song 'he will break
your heart' issued as vee-jay 354 lists the run time on the
label as 2:40 but actually runs 2:49....there is a wide
range of run times listed in the db from 2:40 to
2:54...this 45 run time s/b added to the db.....pat, could
you check to see if the cd below really runs 2:54?..thx

My stock Vee-Jay 354 runs an actual 2:50. It's a west coast vinyl pressing from a Monarch-affiliated plant (delta number is 36463.) There's a pretty fair amount of hum on this record's long fade, which may account for the earlier fadeouts on some CDs.

Yes this song runs (2:54) on the Audio Fidelity 6003 cd.
