my commercial 45 for the bill withers song 'ain't no
sunshine' issued as sussex 219 lists the run time on the
label as 2:04 but actually runs 2:06....you'll need to
pitch down the stereo 2:03 version and convert to mono to
match the vinyl 45 version.....this 45 run time info s/b
added to the db....

ed, if one converts the stereo to mono, is the mix the same as the mono 45,
implying the 45 was a fold-down?

yes....i converted his 3 early top 40's, lean on me, 'use
me' and 'ain't no sunshine', from stereo to mono and they
sound spot on to me...

Thanks edtop40! I've just pitched down my stereo copy and folded it to mono. Good to know that I now have a more accurate replication of the original 45.
