Who knows more? I just read that the first Billboard music
chart was issued on Jan 04, 1936. Who knows more about the
character of the chart? Definitely it was no sheet music
chart and no best-selling singles chart ... (that started
Jul 27, 1940), and the "Record Buying Guide (precursor of
the Juke Box Chart) started in 1938. Was this the Radio
Plug Chart? Does anyone have this Billboard edition and can
describe its content/appearance?

I don't know if this is what you're referring to, but from late 1935 until early 1938 Billboard published sales charts for each major label (that is, a separate chart for each label) based on information supplied by the labels themselves.

This was also my first thought. According to our records, the very first "10 Best Records of the Week" chart was dated November 2, 1935. It showed the Top 10 for three different record labels, RCA-Victor, Brunswick and Columbia. They later added other labels and cut it down to a Top 5 listing. This info was supplied by the labels themselves, so take that for what it's worth.

Interesting ... however, there are several publications
that report Billboard's first chart from Jan 4, 1936, for
example:

bullet-the-rise-of-the-billboard-hot-100

Does anyone have one issue of Billboard from 1936 to check?

Finally I got it (page 66) :

Billboard/30s/1936/BB-1936-01-04.pdf

For me then, the information in the article is misleading
reagarding that what we understand about a chart since
e.g. July 27, 1940:
