Not quite a top 40, but close...

The A-side "Bad Boy Remix" appears as the lead track on the US CD single, but the cassette and 7" singles list the lead track as "Bad Boy Alternate Mix".

A buddy of mine has an import CD single which lists "Bad Boy Alternate Mix" as part of the track listing, but after comparing them they seem to be identical!

Anyone able to shed light on this one?

This one did a little better in airplay, making it to #24 R&R. I remember
playing it as a current at the top 40 station where I worked, and we
played a "no rap" edit of the LP version. I don't ever recall hearing the
Bad Boy Remix on top 40 radio.

Regarding the difference between the US and UK CD singles, I never
trust the labeling on imports. There have been many cases where a mix
is labeled exactly the same, but the mixes or edits are different. There
have been other cases where the mixes are labeled differently (like
they are here) and have identical audio.

Thanks for the response, aaronk. I seem to recall always hearing a super-short edit of the album version on the radio that as you said omits Fat Joe and Big Pun's rap. Also, I agree with you and am always apprehensive about trusting imports for the very reasons you stated.

If anyone happens to have the cassette and/or 45 for "Feelin' So Good" I'd love to determine if they contain a legitimately different mix than the CD single, or if they all have the same version with different names listed on the sleeves/labels. Thanks!
