Today I heard a version of this song on a local station that was just
different enough from the original to catch my attention. During the first
part of the song was a very subtle drum/percussion on the downbeat.
That was about it except then I was questioning if something else was
different with the drums during the chorus. Thanks!

It was the DJ Mike D remix—no Rick Ross version.
