Does anyone out there have the full six minute LP version of this song I can hear?

There seems to be the single (remix/edit of LP version) & an incorrect edit of the LP version mix out there but I need to hear the full album version.

Thank you all!

Andy

I've always loved this record and was disappointed that it only
reached #38. I'm glad it reached #3 in the UK.

Since this song is not in the database does anyone know which CD releases have the correct single remix/edit? This is the first time I've heard that there is an incorrect edit that has appeared on CD. Does the two disc Anthology set titled In Season have the correct or incorrect edit?

To John:

Thank you for the .mp3!

To FrankG:

Yes, the record has an excellent lyrical idea and an outstanding musical arrangement.

To Santi Paradoa:

Yes, I believe the 'In Season' disc has the correct 45 mix/edit; the incorrect edit of LP mix originated on the 3-disc '25th Anniversary Collection'.

Andy

Edited to add: The 'In Season' disc has a slightly longer fade than the 45

What's the correct running time of the single? And would Jersey Beat have it?

The listed time is (3:48) but per John G. the Warner Brothers 45 runs a second shorter (3:47). BTW, the UK single had the longer LP version (6:05) on the b-side with the shorter version as the a-side. As Andy noted above the CD version does have a slightly longer fade (ten seconds longer fade).

Doug,

The fade starts in the right place on the In Season
anthology but the 45 fades out at 3:47.

The copy of the single I have runs 3:48.
Can not remember where I got it from, but not from one
of the sources mentioned that have the single version.
Might be a dub of the single but sounds very clean.
