My stock copy lists a time a (3:34) and runs (3:32). I have a promo with a listed time of (2:55) on both the mono/stereo sides. Actual time (2:52). Says "Edited Version" on both sides. This promo removes the entire opening "Sister Carolyn called me up and said..." narration, and has just a one-note piano intro before she starts with "Gotta find me an angel."

my commercial 45 issued as atlantic 2969 states the run
time on the label as 3:34 but actually runs 3:25....the run
out groove etching is 'ST-H-26606-3 P P'....jim, what does
yours say?

Ed, based on my initial post's submission date, this was one of my very first
posts on the board. My inexperience must've showed itself here. Because,
upon pulling this 45 out tonight, the "Post-It Note" I use to document song
details states "stereo", and using my now long-tried-and-true timing
method, has both a listed and actual time of (3:34). I don't know where I got
a (3:32) timing from, back then; I'll write it off as a "rookie mistake." My
deadwax info is "ST-A-26606", with the last 6 heavily re-traced over a
previous last number. Then, an inch later in the deadwax, it says, "ST-A
26606-1". So, as is so often the case, there clearly appears to be two
different commercial 45 pressings here, Ed.

Good work uncovering these significantly different 45 lengths, Ed and Jim. Ed, is it safe to assume that your copy is in stereo as well?
