Great cut! I often hear it on Yacht Rock Radio on
SiriusXM! From Wiki:

"Airplay was a short-lived American band, formed by
David Foster and Jay Graydon. The band released a self-
titled album in 1980, containing "Nothin' You Can Do
About It" (originally recorded by The Manhattan
Transfer) and a cover of the Earth, Wind & Fire hit
"After the Love Has Gone", written by Foster and
Graydon with Bill Champlin."

According to Discogs a commercial 45 exists with a
runtime of 3:56. Does anyone have a dub of the 45
version?

Gene,

Your mention of Airplay brought back memories for me. I
was working at a soft A/C station in 1980 that played
another song from them, "Should We Carry On." The length
on the album matches the length of that 45.

As for "Nothing You Can Do About It", the run time on the
album is 4:46, so not sure if there is an edit(s) or an
early fade.

Thanks John, but I'm Dave. :-)

Don't feel bad, John. I used to have trouble with names, but then I took that Ralph Carnegie course.
