I did not see a thread for this single. Does anyone
have the promo cd for Tina Turner – I Don't Wanna Fight
- Virgin – DPRO-12775? I would like to know the
actual times of the single (what is read on a cd player)
and the actual length of each song. Thanks!

I'm curious about this one, too. The promo mentioned above has a version called "Single Edit" on Track 1 with a running time of 4:06. The commercial Cassette
Single has a version labelled as just "Edit" with a running time of 4:25. I have a feeling the 4:06 is a typo and is most likely the 4:25 from the Commercial
Single and what has been on her compilation CD's over the years. Can anyone with the promo confirm if a 4:06 version exists?

For what it's worth, I have the "Edit" on:- Hot Hits Pop Vol. 22 (1993, runs 4:25) - I can confirm that this series uses mostly digital clones of Track 1 from the promo CD singles
- Hot Hits DJ Pop Vol. 7 (1993, runs 4:25)
- Hitmakers Vol. 85 (1993, runs 4:24) - digital clone of Hot Hits discs, tail of fade is teeny bit shorter than HH
- UK's 2-CD Now That's What I Call Music Vol. 25 (1993, runs 4:22) - tail of fade is shorter than above discs
- UK's 2-CD Now 1993 (1993, runs 4:21) - tail of fade is shorter than above discs
- Top Hits USA RH019 (1993, runs 4:15) - fade is shortened drastically; this series (in this time frame) is known for shortening the fade
What this tells me is that it's highly unlikely that a 4:06 version exists, because (probably) Track 1 on the promo CD single and the UK single version both run around 4:25.

Labels are known for fudging times....
------------- Favorite two expressions to live by on this board: "You can't download vinyl" and "Not everything is available on CD."
