Hmmm, I can't find this in Pat's database (maybe for good reason)! True, it only hit #46 in Cashbox, but according to Joel's
'Comparison Book', it peaked at #18 in Billboard and #25 in Music Vendor (Record World?) in 1956. I don't see a legit U.S. CD
release for it. The best one I would trust is the release on (U.K.) ACE's Early Girls, Vol.2 (ACE CD CHD 657). From that
standpoint it should be in the "Not on CD" column, but it's not there, either. Unless I'm not spelling 'Bonnie' correctly. My
Rainbow Records 45-328, 45 RPM single does not have a time listed on the label, but runs 2:23. The ACE CD, after silence is
trimmed, runs 2:22 and sounds like it is from a record. I could be wrong. ACE does a great job of cleaning up records for their
CD's in most cases. According to the stock cards from my record store, we received the first shipment of this title on 4/10/56. By
that time, it had been on the charts and was about to fall off. According to 'Wikipedia' John Waters titled his movie 'Cry-Baby'
after this song. Another Hmmm. -Bill.

Yes. But definitely not recommended.
Collectibles compilations are pretty hit or miss. Good
track listings, but often the music (especially the hard
to find stuff) is sourced from vinyl and their mastering
techniques involve noise reduction and making everything
a bit too loud.

Yes, I guess I looked in Discogs and it wasn't listed, so I take that as gospel. When I had my record
store, I dealt with Collectables ever since they were 'Lost Nite'. Like 1971, I think. All of the listings
in Discogs appear to be sketchy labels, except for the ACE CD. So, true, you found one I missed. Now the
next question is, "Does it qualify to be in Pat's database?" -Bill.

I have gone ahead and added this song to the database.
