From 1992, this top 40 hit got lots of airplay but which one was the hit, the radio version or the all english version? Can anyone shed some light?

Also was the all english version on the CD album? Anyone who has it please chime in as that also runs 3:59.

I'd like to know that myself, as I've been wanting to get the All English Version for a long time now. I have the song on a VA compilation, and it's the
English/Spanish version, so my guess is that's what must be on the album as well. The fact that they labelled it as "All English Version" tells me that it's
not the same as the Album/Single version, otherwise they might have labelled it as "Album Version" or something to that effect.

Another question is how does the "Radio Version" on Track 1 of the promo differ from the Album Version, or does it differ at all?

I also don't remember this song getting much airplay, at least in my area. But I do remember hearing the Spanish part of the lyrics when it did come on the
radio.

I downloaded the 7 Digital LP version from her 1992 album. Apparently the Spanish is more towards the end but its not entirely English.

That's true, the Spanish part of the lyrics are relatively short compared to the rest of the song which is in English.

That's great that her album is on 7Digital. The fact that an obscure Top 40 hit from the 90's by an obscure one-hit wonder who is all but forgotten
today is great and hopefully a good sign that more obscure artists and songs will be on the site and others like it someday.

I noticed the Cassette Single listing for the song on
Discogs says both "Radio Version" AND "The Album
Version", so I guess it's safe to say that they're one
and the same.

There's also a separate commercial US Cassette Single
titled "Angelito Mio (Angel Baby)" which I would assume
is an All Spanish version. Unfortunately, it looks like
that particular version is exclusive to that Cassette
Single and is not available anywhere else.

While the information may be correct, it's worth noting that "The Album Version" is user-labeled on Discogs. I don't think it says that anywhere on the release.

It doesn't. I just obtained the promo and it doesn't specify "Album Version" anywhere, not on the inlay or the disc itself. I kind of figured the "Album
Version" notation was user-labeled. I know we're just taking them at their word, but I'm hoping whoever labeled it that way was a serious collector like
us who would want the information to be as accurate as possible.

Plus, based on the fact that there's only a handful of listings for the song on Discogs, it doesn't look like there's any other versions besides the
Album/Radio, All English and possibly All Spanish versions. So there's not that many to sort out.

By the way, has anyone ever noticed that there's bits of instrumentation in the song that sound similar to the ones in Timmy T's "One More Try" from the
previous year? Could it be because they were both on the Quality label, lol?

We would hope that the information is correct, but being a serious
collector vs. being able to tell one version from another takes a different
level of expertise. Furthermore, the information on the Discogs page
should be in the notes field, not listed in the tracklist, so that user’s
“expertise” is already called into question, in my opinion. Still, the
information might be correct, so it’s only a matter of verifying it.
