metallica just had their 8th top forty song hit the hot 100

My copy is not a fan made version, and it runs at 3:33, with a total time of 3:38 and, as ed says, it closes with a slight fade. So, the true promo edit fade can't be recreated from the LP

Bootlegs are generally always fan-made. If the version on it was not taken from vinyl, then it's likely digitally created. (Bootleggers don't have access to master tapes.) It should be noted that the song is re-charting due to exposure in the TV series Stranger Things and that
it's the full album version that is being streamed and downloaded (which accounts for nearly all the song's current chart points). |

The striking thing is that in 2017 they released a giant
