I'll especially be curious as to which "How Will I Know" they used. Has the full,
real single version ever appeared on CD? I remember Aaron had to comp 2
sources to get it but it's never been on one CD.

I just found out about this collection (along with one
from REO Speedwagon in the same series) today. Does anyone
have it and can comment on it in terms of
it having the right 45 versions, sound quality, etc.?

I'm not sure what the correct US single version was but my copy of the Japanese Singles Collection is timed at 4.35 if that helps?

I checked the first few tracks in a rip found online. All are brickwalled and are not new transfers.

"How Will I Know" is just another appearance of the common CD version, i.e. the 2nd single / replacement album version. The video/1st single version is not here.

"Saving All My Love for You" is a 3:45 early fade of the album version, which is kind of interesting; US 45 labels say 3:46 but run the full 3:56, while the Japanese 45 insert says 3:56 and runs an unknown length.

"You Give Good Love" is a 4:08 early fade, I guess splitting the difference between the 4:07 and 4:09 fades mentioned in the database.

I forgot about this Japanese release until it was brought back up here recently.
Are there any rarities on this? (for instance, I don't know where Takin' a
Chance is from).

"Takin' a Chance" was a Japan-only single released in 1989, and was added to the I'm Your Baby Tonight album in that region as a bonus track. It used to be fairly hard to get
ahold of it, but it is available currently in U.S. streaming and digital outlets on both a "Feels So Good"/"Takin' a Chance" 2-track single and an "I'm Your Baby Tonight" remix EP.
So, don't spend big bucks just to import that song.
