Okay, so someone clue me in: Just which version is the US
45 version? I was unable to find out from any posting on
the board, any info in the database, or anything online. I
suspect it's the 4:40 7" Radio Edit, but I really don't
know.

It took me a while to track down both promo CD singles for "Sensitivity," but I finally found the second one I was looking for just a couple months ago. Here's what I have:

CD45-1283
1. non-described version (listed & actual 4:35)

CD45-1097
1. Extended Version (listed & actual 5:54)
2. Radio Edit (listed & actual 4:40)
3. Ralph's Rap (listed & actual 5:00)

The 0:05 difference between the non-described version and the "Radio Edit" is at the 2:38 mark. The "Radio Edit" has a short rap by Ralph, while the non-described version removes his rap from the mix and edits out :05 of the backing track.

This may not help you much, Brian, in determining the 45 version, but hopefully someone with the cassette single or vinyl can let us know if the short rap appears at 2:38 or not.

My cassette single has the radio edit described above. I never saw a 45-rpm disc in Canada, but MCA did release a 12" single which has the radio edit on it as well.

My US cassette single has the rap at 2:38 as well. Although the cassette single states, "Original version appears on the forthcoming Ralph Tresvant album...", I cannot detect any difference between the 4:40 version on the Ralph Tresvant CD and the cassette single version.

I can confirm, after hearing Ed's cassingle version, that
the Radio Edit is the single version. I'm going to check
out the Ralph Tresvant album from the library this weekend
and compare that version with the Radio Edit.
