	the version on the 'best of' cd (rhino 72867) is an edit of the vinyl 45 version.....near the end of the song at the 3:38 mark, the screams of the female character are edit out and goes straight to the fade, while the vinyl 45 contains the female screams/spoken words during the fade out....do any of the db entries contain the proper vinyl 45 version?

	Ed, No, U.S CD has the correct single version. Early in 2016 Ace released "Face The Music - The Complete Monument Singles 1965-1970" ... but they got several singles wrong, using LP versions and in one case a re-recording! After Ace saw the posts on the BSN site about the errors, they apologized for the mistakes and said they would remaster the CD with the correct versions. We helped them out by sending them 45 reference dubs. But as of today we have no word on when they are planning to re-release it in correct form. MM
