As an ex-DJ on the local mobile circuit I have had the opportunity to collect discs from a variety of sources. I also have had a number of friends who either donated their collections to me or traded them after the
digital ripping format took off in full stride.

I have in my hands a selection of discs that I found after a while in the box called "Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame" They are at best spotty on original material and I am not really impressed by much I've listened to.

Many of the tracks are later versions of the original artists. Some are a weird kind of "Live Sounding" audience added to the recording. Most notably in a couple Chicago songs. In what sounded like a live version,
ended up being some strange effect of a background live audience added in.

I haven't taken much time to sample these, but I assume the series itself is loaded with a lot of these custom recordings

What I'm wondering is has anyone found anything useful on these discs? The label is also kind of hard to make out as it looks like an old style jukebox with the name "Legacy" in the middle. There are also notes on
the back about "Courtesy of Red Dog Express & Creative Sounds LTD."

I'm gearing up for a string of sales on ebay this winter and am thinking these need to go first. Or, would it be better to spare anyone these by donating them to Goodwill or something?

It looks like you've inherited a largely worthless collection of oldies. I used to see these cluttering up the used bins way back when.

Here's the full series on Discogs.

I'd recommend donating.
There's a lot of crap on the radio, but there's only one Crap From The Past.

I am seeking volume 13 for the Ronnie Dove
song on it, but an mp3 of that version
would suffice.
Live in stereo.
