Regarding Tom Petty's "Runnin' Down a Dream", the database states the following comment:
(dj copies of this 45 ran (4:08) and (4:23); commercial copies were all (4:23)) The timing info above appears to be based on the printed record label times because abagon reports his DJ 45 copy carries actual run times of 4:06 and 4:21 (the latter states "LP Version" on the label), while his commercial 45 copy runs 4:21. Saw a pic of the promo CD online. The 4:08 version says (with fade), so it appears to be an early fade. Anyone have beginning/ending fade points?

The fadeout starts around (3:50), and ends at (4:06) with the 2nd guitar choking (the 1st one is at 4:04). |
