Although not a top 40 hit in the US, it was Sade's first UK single and reached the top 10 there. In the US, it stalled out at #54, released as the third and final single from Diamond Life. I have a client asking me to play it at her wedding tomorrow, which is why it's top of mind at the moment.

I found that there are actually three different lengths, with the two shorter lengths being edits of the longest version.

Album version (3:57)
Single version (3:39)
US promo single version (3:28)

The edits between the single version and US promo single version are different, but both can be edited from the long album version. Just passing this along in case anyone finds it useful :)

Interestingly, I just checked Rhapsody and all versions
available, including Diamond Life are 3:39.

So, I'd be interested in how the 3:28 promo single
version is created from the 3:39 version.

I think at some point, they may have swapped the original LP version
for the single edit on Diamond Life. The short promo cannot be edited
from the 3:39 version. The edits are different. The edits on both
versions occur only near the end. From memory, the promo has one
edit and a long, slow fade, slightly earlier than the fade of the full
version. The single edit also has one edit but in a different spot and
does not fade early.
