"You Will Know" by Stevie Wonder only reached #77 on the
Hot 100 in early 1988, but it reached #1 on the R&B chart. The US commercial 45 runs (4:27) as the label states and is an edit of the (5:00) LP version. According to Discogs, two different US promo 45s were issued. One is the same version as the commercial 45 and the other is a "New Radio Edit" with a listed time of (4:05). I assume this is the same version with a stated time of (4:05) that appears on a US promo CD single and on a German commercial single, which is actually an early fade of the commercial 45 (not a 'New Radio Edit'). As far as I can tell, the commercial single version has never been issued on CD (commercial or promo; domestic or foreign). Edited by Paul C |

I've also never found the 4:27 commercial single version on CD. While you can edit the LP version to match, you'll run out of audio a little too soon. The fade out of the 45 continues for several seconds beyond where the LP version ends.
