To anyone who has the 45 of Tavares' "Don't Take Away the Music" (3:34) or the one CD that contains the single fade, can anyone tell me at what point the fade starts?

I have the 45, and from what I can tell the fade starts just before the 3:25 mark. I first notice the fade begin during the word “got” where the line is: “it’s the only thing I’ve got”. My copy of the 45 runs 3:36, actually, where I hear a “please” as the last word.
