The version of Peter, Paul & Mary's 'Tell It On The Mountain' found on the only U.S. CD on which it appears, In The Wind, is not the same version as my 45, which runs about 2:29.

Paul C: My 45 also runs 2:29. It has the energy of a live sing to it, but I don't hear any evidence of any crowd noise on the 45. This take is performed SO much faster and forcefully than the much mellower-delivered LP version, that I believe all the lyrics of the (2:55) album version are still featured on the 45 version - just belted out by P, P & M :25+ seconds more quickly.
