Pat:
Regarding George Benson's "This Masquerade", I have what is billed in the database as the 45 version on two CDs: Breezin' (Warner Archives/Rhino 76713) (remastered; 45 version) The Greatest Hits of All (Warner Brothers/Rhino 78284) (45 version) However, I've discovered these CDs consist of different versions. On the Breezin' disc, the :48 scat-sung piano LP intro has been removed and the song begins at the point where the bass and percussion start. The rest of the song syncs up with the LP version but fades out much earlier. Meanwhile, the version of "This Masquerade" on the Greatest Hits of All CD is nothing more than the LP version faded 4:42 early. So which version is the correct 45 version? Or were both versions released on different 45 pressings? Edited by Todd Ireland |

my commercial 45 issued as warner 8209 has the intro instrumentals in the left channel while the cd version from "collection" has them in the right channel.....do any of the other 45 version have the intro in the left channel like the vinyl 45?
