Does anyone know the best sounding dj 45 version of this song? I have it on
the Madacy's Rock On 1984 CD and the sound quality is pretty bad. |

You're right about the Rock On copy sounding bad. The high frequencies are rolled off on "Hold Me Now."
I have the promo 45 length on Silver Eagle's After Hours where it sounds fine, although the volume is a little lower than other discs. It runs 4:14 on this disc. I also have it on Razor & Tie's Back To The '80s, where it runs 4:15. The volume levels are more normal on this CD, but it's likely very hard to find. The other discs I have it on run a few seconds shorter, between 4:10 and 4:12. In my digital library, I used Rhino's Billboard Top Hits 1984 and made the early fade myself. |

Listening to it right now in one of our local stations and the song doesn't
sound that good either. |

bumping this one back up. Can someone provide the exact
fade point from start to finish to recreate the promo 7" Edit? From what I understand it times out to about 4:15 and not 3:58 per the label. |
