Does anyone know if a short radio edit/length of Jimmy Dean's "Sleeping Beauty" was ever issued on a promo 45? CD times for this song run 5:12-5:14, which I imagine would've been considered a bit lengthy by most Top 40 radio programmers' standards, especially in 1962.

My promotional copy, confirmed as Columbia 4-42282, has a listed time of (5:10) and an actual time of (5:13). My stock copy lists no play time on the label but is the same length.

Thanks for passing along the info, Tom. I don't know how common it was back in 1962 for radio stations to be serviced with more than one promo 45 release for a song, so this may simply be a rare instance of an early '60s single having an unusually lengthy run time. Nonetheless, if anyone else does happen to have a "To a Sleeping Beauty" promo 45 with a shorter edit or length, please come forward.
