Aaron, both regrettably, and following industry trends of this era, my
research books indicate that Ferrante & Teicher's "A Man And A Woman And Other Great Themes" late 1967 LP (UA 3572) was the last to be released in both mono & stereo versions. Unfortunately, this was about two years before their issued-in-stereo-only "Midnight Cowboy" LP came out (United Artists 6725.) There are some exceptions, but in general, major label LP's issued in mono versions after 1968 were quite rare. Edited by jimct |

Bummer :( Thanks for the insight on the year that mono LPs went out of style, so to speak. You are a great wealth of knowledge, sir!

I do have a nice mp3 of the actual 45. Rhino did not
always get it right for one reason or another. |
