My commercial 45, which is in stereo, has a listed time of (2:52), but an actual time of (2:57). PS-My other 1970 timing issue research discovery must wait for later, as Pat's system has AGAIN told me that "spamming is not permitted" (which I'm OBVIOUSLY doing!), and has locked me out, saying I must "try again later." A head-shaker, indeed, Mr. Downey - later isn't good for me; NOW is. I'm booked solid for the next couple of days. I do hours of research, and then I log in here and type in all my findings, one right after another. FYI, "Ma Belle Amie" will be added when my "spamming freeze" thaws, and I get a few minutes. Sure is bad for poster morale.......

I hope Pat you can get this resolved, as the information you provide, Jim (and effort to do so) is so much appreciated by me and I'm sure other board members too!

Here is the response I got from my programmer after he read your post Jim---
"Can you get the guy to give you the exact message he's getting and under what circumstances?" |

Pat, when I tried to add my SIXTH "new topic" post, within about 1/2 an hour or so, I typed in all of the Tee Set info, and then hit "Post New Topic". THAT'S when the message appeared, exactly as I reported earlier. Spamming Is Not Permitted! Try Back Later!

Does anyone have Bobby Sherman's original vinyl LP release of With Love, Bobby from 1970 on the Metromedia label? If "Julie, Do Ya Love Me" runs 2:52 on it like on the album's 1995 CD reissue (K-Tel 3429), then we're probably looking at a 45 length/LP length situation here, which should be noted in the database.

I just picked up the DJ 45 on this track, both the mono and stereo sides have a listed time of 2:49 and an actual time of 2:58.

Thanks for passing along the info, Bill. And it's good to see the database has also been updated with vinyl LP run time info.

Found a different DJ copy on "Julie", this one is not mono/stereo but is mono on both sides with the B side being "Spend Some Lovin' Time".
This copy has a label time of 2:52 and the same 2:58 run time as the other DJ copy. |

How about a 3rd version of the promo? Mine is as you described, except it's stereo. No stereo designation on the label though. |

With the 45 length at 2:58 and the LP length at 2:52, am
I to presume the LP just fades earlier than the 45? |
