Grant, could you please provide the deadwax info for your
actual (3:32) 45 version?

Talk about taking my time to pull something out of a box!

My numbers on the runout groove on my commercial copy are:
M-2069-AS 1B

I chose to use the LP version on the Love Unlimited Orchestra's Best Of, which has just a little bit better sound than Barry White's All Time Greatest Hits, and starts its fade later. (Both fades end at about the same point.)

Based on Aaron's recreation of the long 45 version, I can say that the long 45 version runs at the LP speed, and seems to run a few seconds beyond the end of the LP version (if you try to recreate it).

The version on Rhino's Didn't It Blow Your Mind Vol. 13 (1991) runs about 1.7% faster than the LP speed, and is a few seconds shorter than the long 45. If this the short 45 version, then the short version runs about 1.7% faster than the LP. I didn't compared the Rhino version directly to the LP version.

The difference in the fade length is only a few seconds, and is relatively insignificant compared to the speed difference.

There's a lot of crap on the radio, but there's only one Crap From The Past.

Hey Ron, that file originated from Todd Ireland's collection. I've never attempted to make my own 45 version of this one.
