The LP version runs 4:49 on all of these:

• Wilson Phillips (SBK K2-93745, 1990)
• Hot No. 1 Hits! (Realm 1CD 8195, 1992; digitally exactly 1.5 dB quieter than Wilson Phillips)
• Body Talk - Hearts On Fire (Time-Life R834-21, 2000; different EQ from above two)

The sound quality on all of the above is terrific.

I have a different version that runs 4:05 on these:

• Sounds Of The '90s - 1991 (Time-Life R614-02, 2001)
• Body Talk - After Dark (Time-Life R834-11, 1997; digitally exactly 3 dB quieter than above CD)

The sound quality is questionable on both of these. The waveform is pretty severely compressed/maximized, and the whole track has some out-of-phase unease to it - a lot like the unfortunate "Electronically Rechanneled For Stereo" tracks from the '50s and '60s.

I can't tell if the 4:05 version is a different mix, or is just a strangely-EQ'd and processed version of the LP mix. Mix differences aside, the two versions are the same until 3:11, after which the LP goes into a mellow guitar solo for the rest of the song, and the 4:05 version repeats the chorus until the fade. I don't think the 4:05 version can be recreated from the LP version.

I had no idea that they recorded anything in Spanish! (Foreign language re-recordings are my specialty on the radio show. There's nothing like a little Pointer Sisters in Spanish ("He's So Shy") or Chicago in Japanese ("Questions 67 and 68") to wake you up!)
