My commercial 45, which is mono and confirmed as Heritage 803, has a listed time of (2:15), but an actual time of (2:32).

My copy of "May I" on the Beach record label (the first issue of the song) has a label time of 2:29 but runs 2:30. Speed is the only difference between the two issues of the song, as they would fade out at exactly the same point if their speeds were similar. I actually prefer it at the slightly faster speed, myself...but i'm used to it, having had it on the Groovin' Sixties cd from JCI for years, although that is actually just slightly faster than my Beach 45, too, clocking in at 2:29.
