This is an interesting find, abagon, because your "Cold Love" commercial 45 runs :33-:34 shorter than the two CD appearances in the database. That said, can anyone pinpoint if the 45 is an edit, a different mix, or an early fade of the LP?

I verified between the 45 with the LP "Wanderer". But my stock LP is the Japanese issue. The LP running time (3:36).
A remove "0:00-0:13.7" and a fade out. The 45 is slower than the LP slightly. I feel it doesn't have overdub. Therefore I think "Edited version". |

Even though Pat has already updated the song's CD appearances in the database with 45/LP version designations, I did want to follow up with a confirmation that the 45 is indeed an edit of the LP. If you have digital editing software, simply follow Abagon's instructions above and you can create it!

The LP version sounds great on the 2-CD Anthology (1993).
To recreate the 45 edit, keep 0:14.7-3:29.5 of Anthology , and add a 16-beat fade on the last 8 seconds. (Fade extends from 3:21 to 3:29 of LP version, and 3:07-3:15 of 45 edit.) Edited by crapfromthepast |

There's a lot of crap on the radio, but there's only one Crap From The Past.
