The database notes the Association's "Six Man Band" has an actual 45 run time of 2:24. At present there are two CDs with a 2:24 run time, yet both contain the comment: "LP version but :12 longer". Not being familiar with the 45 version, can anyone point out the main difference(s) between the 45 version and the "LP version but :12 longer" entries?

Sure, Todd. The tipoff occurs at the end of the very first line:
Well, I'm a day at a time (baa-daa, baa-daa) I'm a day at a time... The two group harmony "baa-daa"s at the end of the first line (and continuing over the first part of the second line) are present on the LP version, but are absent from the 45. Edited by Yah Shure |
