I thought the topic line was a news item for a second there.

I was recently asked about this song, and I have two additional promo CDs that are not yet documented.

PRCD 8877
1. non-described version (listed 4:01; actual 4:15)

This disc plays the album version and has electric guitar throughout.

PRCD 9148
1. Radio Edit (listed 4:18; actual 4:17)
2. Album Version (listed & actual 4:15)

The Radio Edit on this disc has a shorter intro than the Album Version (vocals start at 0:16 as opposed to 0:30), and an acoustic guitar has been added low in the mix under the electric guitar.

The third promo CD that Ed has detailed above was issued with a sticker on the jewel case that says "New Radio Edit," along with the song title and catalog number. This version has NO electric guitar at all. Instead, the acoustic guitar has been brought forward in the mix. The song structure is the same as the regular Radio Edit.

Ed, I don't mind sending it, but PRCD 8877 is identical to the Album Version on your promo CD (PRCD 9171, cut 2).

Question regarding Falls Apart prcd 9171. "new radio
edit".   is this the same as the new radio edit that was
featured on Top Hits USA promo sampler? I own that disc
but the track clocks in at 4:03. Ed mentioned the actual
track time is 4:15. Some of these promo cds were
confusing as the track times on them were inconsistent
with listed vs actual.   If anyone has prcd 9171, would
you mind sending a lossless copy of it? I'd like to
compare. thanks!
