Two More Eagles Singles

We've talked previously about single versions of Eagles songs, but a couple that didn't get mentioned in that thread were their first two hits: "Take It Easy" and "Witchy Woman". So, my usual question--can the 45s of these two songs be extracted from the LP?

I've also recently replicated the 45 version of "One of These Nights" from the LP version on CD, so I'll be sending it your way on the upcoming CD-R I'm making for you. Sometime in the future, I'd like to work on a homemade 45 version of "Take It to the Limit", which I understand is the most complicated Eagles 45 version to replicate.

From the dub that Ed sent me, "Take It Easy" has one edit at around the (2:54) mark--one of the instrumental bars is removed (it's about a seven or eight second edit). And nice work on the edits, T.I.

I'm not sure there is a difference in "Peaceful Easy Feeling" (and Pat's database indicates as such).

The actual running time of "Already Gone" is (3:43) not (3:39) as stated on the record label and in my opinion is just an early fade of the LP equivalent.

Don't forget another difference between the 45 versions and LP
versions of "Take It Easy" and "Witchy Woman." Both original 45s
were in mono, and, in my opinion, each was mixed a bit differently
from their album versions. "Take It Easy" sounds as though there is
no (or certainly less) reverb on the lead vocal, and the backing vocals
sound more up in the mix. On "Witchy Woman," it seems to me that
the bass has been pushed up in the mix. Oddly, I have the promo
45 for "Witchy Woman" which features both the mono and stereo
mixes. And, "Take It Easy" is worth finding on 45, because the flip,
"Get You In The Mood," has yet to find official release on CD.
