"Rip It Up" - Bill Haley and His Comets

I have Bill Haley and His Comet's "Rip It Up" on the group's German import CD compilation called Millennium (Universal International 112187). Beginning at the :02 mark of the song, hand claps can clearly be heard. However, on my copy of Bill Haley and His Comet's From The Original Master Tapes CD (MCA 5539), there are no hand claps present. Can anyone confirm whether the commercial 45 contains the hand clap overdubs?

The 45 does indeed have handclaps, as well as a falsetto "Oh My" at the end. The Original Master Tapes CD (MCA 5539) has neither. It does, however, have one lonely little guy clapping his hands, but not the group clap (pardon the expression). (Steve Hoffman??) Does the "Oh My" appear on yours? If it does, it's probably the correct version. How's the quality compared to the "Original Masters CD?   

Incidentally, the correct 45 version appears on a 4-CD box titled "From Western Swing To ROCK" on the "Proper Box" label #118 from the Czech Republic. They even have a website www.proper-records.co.uk. It's nowhere near the quality, though and it's speeded up considerably. Anyone know where a better quality source might be?

I'm anxious for Edtop40 to weigh in.   

my import cd titled 'classic: bill haley & his comets: the
universal masters collection' issued as mca 112 174-2
contains the hand claps and 'oh my' falsetto and matches my
commercial 45 perfectly......my commercial 45 lists a run
time on the label as 2:22 but actually runs 2:24..

don't know....i don't have that cd.....u need a copy for
comparison?....but it sounds pretty good to me....
