Dan Fogelberg-Same Old Lang Syne

Didn't see a thread for this, so I decided to start one.

Every copy of this on Discogs, be it Promo or retailhas the full 5:18 LP version.
Was an edited version never made, and radio just played the full version? I find
this similar to Gordon Lightfoot's "The Wreck of The Edmund Fitzgerald" in
that the structure of the song makes it hard to edit, as there aren't that many
instrumental passages.

However, I do recall some stations fading out before the cold ending.

Yeah, I imagine that's what they would do.
