Can anyone confirm or does anyone have audio of Will Smith's original 12 inch promo that does not have the "mama-uh, mama-uh, mama come closer" line as a reference to the song "Soul Makossa" by Manu Dibango but is closer to the version adapted by Michael Jackson in "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'"'s final bridge?
To my knowledge the unaltered version has never appeared on CD for legal reasons, only on the 12 inch. https://www.discogs.com/Will-Smith-Gettin-Jiggy-Wit-It-Just- Cruisin/release/1611495 Edited by PopArchivist |

I have the 12” and not only is that line different, but also there is an
additional sample of “It Takes Two” throughout that was removed for the LP version. |
