This was Lightfoot's last Hot 100 hit peaking at # 50.
Does anyone know the edit points for the single? The 45 times in at 3:24 per the label versus the album version which is about 3:55. |

I don't recall any edits. It was an early fade. I do seem to think that the single was sped up slightly. My single did time
out at 3:24. -Bill. |

Thanks, Bill. I only heard the song a few times on the
radio back when and recall that the ending fade was rather abrupt. I just assumed it was the DJ chattering over the end of the song sooner that s/he should have! |
