Three questions about this 1981 rocker:
1) Does the single have the "space / radio" sound effects that the LP version has at the beginning? 2) On the album version (at least on the CD) after the ending shout "NOT ME!" echo at the end of the song, there are two guitar string "bumps," one in the left channel, then one in the right, followed by what sounds like an echo of the right string hit in the left channel. (This is 25 db to 35 db down.) Is this left on the single, or faded "early" to remove it? It's not on the YouTube videos of the single made a few years after the release. 3) I came across a version labeled as "clean" on YouTube. Is there something in the lyrics that I've missed that radio used to edit out? Edited by NightAire |

This post makes me curious as I'd like to know any
differences as well. The official video has the SFX at the beginning. I don't own a 45 for this so I can't be of any help in that regard, but if there are differences I'd like to know. |
