my commercial cassingle of the song "deeper shade of soul" by the urban dance squad states the version as the "single version" with no listed run time but is an edit of the 4:32 full length cd/lp version and runs 4:03....this cassingle info s/b added to the db....thanks aaron for the edit you did for me awhile ago....

The Radio Edit cannot be edited from the LP version, as the intro horn sample is unique to that version. The ending would also be tricky to edit, as it's out-of-sequence, jumping back to the chorus and fading out. I assume this is a repeated chorus from earlier, but I've never actually A/B'd them to find out.
