   I bought the self titled LP in 1988 and the version of "Dreamin" on the LP was not the hit version I remember hearing on the radio when the record was current on the charts. The background instrumental elements as well as some of the vocal elements are different. The LP version is listed with a run time of 4:09

Years later I found a used copy of the 45 single 

Tracklisting:

Side A: Dreamin' (New Mix)4:10

Side B: Dreamin' (Miami Mix) 4:10

The "New Mix" is the hit version I remembered on the radio. The "Miami Mix" is what was used on the LP.

Since both versions run the same time it may be difficult to find out if that version has been issued on CD over the years instead of the more commonly heard Miami Mix.. If any of you folks spun this record on CHR and were serviced with the promo which is a Double A side (New Mix) pressing you may know what I'm talking about when comparing it to the LP version (Miami Mix).

This "Hit Version" has fell into obscurity.
