Well, i never intend a lecture but i do ramble on :-)

Nothing against mp3's here, i and my fellow mastering
engineers use them all the time just for preview or
reference dub, in high quality of course.
But i've already credited your account! :-D

Thanks To John for the DJ 45 dub. I a/b'd and also
compared side by side in a synch track.

I can certify that the HAND stereo is indeed the DJ 45
mix, exactly.
Folding it to mono, it's identical to the DJ 45, even the
EQ and compression are spot on.
Note tho that CD runs slightly faster, causing it to
appear 1 second shorter. Once you slow it down to match
they are clones, right the tail of the ending at 3:59.

Kudos to whomever at Elektra pulled the master for this.

Inglot also stated in same interview that while there are
a lot of LP versions on Vols. 1-10 because he wanted
stereo, from 11 onward he specifically asked for "45
masters".   I imagine this tape was labeled in some
fashion that way.
Since i never owned the 45, i just assumed all these
years it was the commercial 45 mix.
