Actually, I don't think that would happen here, because you can't edit the 45 version down from the LP version. The engineer wouldn't have the right source material to do a new edit.

I think that the Rhino version uses the proper 45 source tape, but with some tape drag in the analog transfer at the beginning of the song.
There's a lot of crap on the radio, but there's only one Crap From The Past.
