My commercial 45, which is mono and confirmed as Buddah 102, has a listed time of (2:20), but an actual time of (2:28). Unfortunately, current database CDs for this song have run times ranging from (2:21) to (2:23).

Given that CD appearances for Ohio Express' "Mercy" all run from 2:21 to 2:23, as Jim stated, this leads me to wonder if the LP length is shorter than the 45. Does anyone have Ohio Express' parent vinyl LP Mercy from 1969 on Buddah who can pass along the title track's run time?

the 45 is pitched slower than the cd version i have from
'golden classics' which runs 2:23....if you match the pitch of the vinyl 45 the 'golden classics' version will run 2:26; you're still short, but by only 0:02, and not the 0:05 it would be otherwise |
