I remember reading a while back someone mentioning the promo remix edit could be recreated from the full 12" mix. Has anyone tried it? I remember attempting, but I think something might have not worked out right. Maybe I messed up...anyone? Thanks!

Nope, it cannot be re-created from the 12" mix. The opening drum beats and the fade out of the edited version are unique.

However, the opening drum beats are on the dub version of Dress You Up, which is on the Japanese maxi CD single, so it's only necessary to take the fade out from vinyl. Edited by Brian W. |
