ok, great...i can't seam to locate the original cd with the original version on it....BALLS.....aaron...would you like a copy of the single version to compare if you have the original cd to compare it to???

I just heard Ed's copy of the single. I cannot hear any difference between his single version and the "remix" on Retrospective in the opening drums. I didn't listen to the entire song, but the beginnings sound the same, and Pat says the difference is "in the drums right from the start."
My conclusion is that the single version = the remix on Retrospective. Without hearing the LP version, I'd guess that the LP version is a different mix, and an LP/45 version should be noted in the database. |

Pat, do you disagree with Ed & me? Perhaps the vinyl 45 (if there is one) has the LP version, but the cassette and CD singles have the remix?
