	I'd be interested in knowing if "The Rumour" is the album version or the Shep Pettibone edit on that cd too! (I think they are the same time)

	I'm contacting one of the 4 people who own the Japanese cd single on Discogs. I don't think that it is this edit since I don't see any indication in the pictures that it is the JS remix (Its not even called the Summer Splash Mix on fhe cover!). As we all know just because someone puts something on Discogs, that doesnt mean its right.

	I think you are right. The track duration on that Japanese single matches the album version or regular promo 45 version that just fades the lp version slightly. let us know if anyone on discogs gets back to you.

	"Sendin' All My Love" on the MCA promo compilation is the album version. "The Rumour" is the Remix Edit also found on the US promo CD single. Most of these sound like the same version on the US commercial 7" singles, except "You Came" is the album version.

	The person who originally put the Japanese CD single on Discogs started by copying data from a 12". They apparently just forgot to fix the title when they were editing the tracklist. I have taken care of the problem just now. There's no reason to believe it contains the remix.
