   Looks like I asked the same question here, years ago, that I asked recently in a new thread. Sorry!

The Rock 40 I was working at when this song came out played this for weeks in hot rotation! It was a monster hit in Tulsa and I don't know anybody listening to radio at the time who doesn't remember "Kiss Me Deadly."

...and to follow up on my question, it sounds like "made" was likely the version played most on the radio.
