I'm still a bit confused. Are you saying on one side of the 45 it says both "Remix" and "AC Mix" on the label, and therefore, they are one and the same? |

The label of my promo 45 (PRO-S-3078) has a time of 3.54 printed on both sides with (Remix) printed underneath. Under the song title it reads A/C Mix. On my other promo 45 (7-27986-A) the printed time reads 3.53 on both sides with (Remix) underneath. There is no mention of A/C Mix on the label. |

Thanks Aaron. I have the remix on an import We All Sleep Alone CD single.
Though the remix must have been available in the US, I guess the first time I came across it was this import. So I have it - though it mentions nothing of an AC mix. So I'm glad to learn I already have that, too! I took a look at pic you linked to on Discogs. Usually when 2 mixes are listed on a single (be it CD, maxi, whatever), it refers to 2 different mixes. This is the only time in my recollection that 2 mixes were listed on a single, and it was referring to just ONE version. lol. |

Yeah, I think in this case it was more to point out to AC programmers that the song was intended for them. So, yes, it was the same "Remix" sent to CHR, but Geffen also said "Hey! Look! AC programmers, this one is for you."
