At least one US pressing runs shorter than that...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIpcSjBz5qI It ends on "I been everywhere," then there's a couple beats after that, "buh buh..." Edited by Brian W. |

The 45 in the video runs 3:31 just like the actual time of
Ed's 45. Does this mean the video that Brian linked to is how the actual 45 sounds? |

There are two 45 videos linked in this thread. I don't know what the run times are, but they each end at different points in the song. There seem to be different pressings of the 45 with different fade points. Edited by Brian W. |

I had forgotten that I linked to the other video in 2017.
That's the length I have in my library. Not sure if the second 45 was an earlier or later pressing. |

My promo and stock Mercury 45s are both Columbia Terre Haute pressings, with the same deadwax on each. Mastering is by Capitol's Wally Traugott ("Wly"), although there's no "MASTERED BY CAPITOL" stamped in the deadwax.
3:29 listed and 3:29.35 actual time. Fade ends very abruptly. |
