Yes, it is, Doug. Promo copies of Close To The Edge were specially banded, and the "And You And I" Part I commercial 45 basically comprised the first three bands of side two, except that it faded out just before the "5:50" spiral noted on the LP label. But the LP track plays at the same speed as the DJ 45 edit. To get the commercial Part I 45, fade from roughly 5:35.6 to 5:48.3, then increase the speed by about an additional 0.85%. |
